We love the conferencing function. Each of our employees has a conference line they can use for any multi-party calls and we also set up unique conference call lines for each project. It's made managing all our internal and client-facing calls way easier. We switched to 8x8 from RingCentral two years ago because of this feature!

IT recruiting is all about listening. My 8x8 story starts last year when I accepted a 'work from home' role with a company in San Ramon, CA. I had no experience working outside of an office so I had to find a space in the house, buy a desk, etc. We dumped our home phone years ago, all I had was my cell. I really tried to make the cell phone work, I even bought a Bluetooth box that would connect it to my previous Uniden 5.8gb system. The clarity, reliability and ease of use was not there so I asked corporate for their phone of choice. My 8X8 system shipped quickly but even before that I had some questions with my Internet speed, I emailed 8x8 customer service and they assured me I would have no problems. Since my office was in a room away from my router, I thought I was destined to have to use my phone away from my computer - the 8x8 easily connected to my Airport Express with no notable decrease in performance. Getting back to why I needed a system like this - sound quality. I now have a functional, advanced phone system that sounds good and is easy to use. The Polycom desk unit completes the package and gives me a feeling of being in a real office. When I'm on the road with my laptop I use my 8x8 softphone as well as the 8x8 cell phone app. As a recruiter, I'm on the phone a lot, I don't think I would be able to do this job as effectively without my 8x8. Thanks!

Our business had to go through 3 other VOIP providers before 8X8. All the other providers had serious quality of service issues that reflected poorly on our business. Some of these services were even more expensive proving that you don't always get what you pay for. We have had no quality of service issues with 8X8 and the Virtual Office app has been a great addition to your systems.

8X8 helps me to be more efficient and productive away from the office! With call forwarding at the touch of a button and voicemail alerts via email I never miss a client's call. I could not be on top of my game without 8X8!

What I love most about 8x8 is the ease of staying connected wherever I am by using Virtual Office Online and the 8x8 smartphone app. I can be confident that I won't miss any important calls or messages, whether I'm in the office, working from home, or travelling!

My agent has three different office locations, the phone systems allows any of the 6 customer service reps to answer a phone call. We love it!

8x8 is fine and when set up works pretty well, but I think there are better alternatives. I had an open support ticket for more than 30 days with 8x8 for a broken analog adapter and no one could ever seem to get it working. Finally they escalated it to someone who could send me a replacement. And one time I had to call because I couldn't upload music on hold. It kept giving me an error, even when I tried on multiple computers, operating systems, Internet connections and even different files. The support rep just kept telling me there must be a problem on my end. He ended up uploading for me which is great, but it was disheartening that he never believed me that I tried so many alternative ways. I'd say you should look to Jive or Mitel before going with 8x8.

The salesperson was a champ! Requests for assistance were handled with great expertise. The only regret is that we weren't teamed with 8x8 years ago!

I don't have service yet due to my extended review period. My rep did a superlative job of finding out my needs, advising me on alternatives, and using a light sales touch. I really appreciated not being bugged by multiple sales calls and emails like I got from the other providers.

Great prices and global calling, wow!! No downside! I would recommend to any business person. They go over everything in detail which is nice to understand.
